Dear valued patron,

Over the past ten years, it has been our sincere pleasure to be your doctors. Being part of the amazing success stories here has been such a blessing. And, the physical space that is New Leaf Chiropractic is the culmination of so many of our dreams, and we thank all of you for being such a huge part of that!

And so it is with deeply mixed emotions that we are also writing to let you know that our family has decided it’s time for us to move closer to family and uproot to Florida.

As many of you know we have long talked about downsizing our lives and moving somewhere warmer, somewhere closer to family where Jay can focus on coaching, and Christina can focus on her real estate career. We have decided our next adventure, after much consideration, prayer, and meditation will be in Orlando. It’s been an honor and a privilege taking care of you these past few years. So many of you are dear friends and more like family members than merely patients to us, which made this a difficult decision. We will miss you all!

After a long search we have found a family of doctors we believe will be a perfect fit to continue leading you in your journey back to ideal health. Their names are Amber, Ben, and Kyle Buck. Many of you have already met them these last few weeks. They come highly qualified and share the same lifelong passion for health and wellness that we do.

Dr. Ben and Dr. Amber are married and Dr. Kyle is the brother of Dr. Ben. They are a family and they practice and live with the same values and lifestyle as we do. We instantly knew they would be the perfect team to provide the highest quality of care that you deserve. They all practice very similar to us, with each having their own special areas of expertise that we feel will be a tremendous bonus and value add to the care you are currently receiving.

All three of the doctors bring to the table expertise in many areas, beyond what we have provided for you. Dr. Amber specializes in lower force adjustments and Applied Kinesiology, which focuses on muscle function and facilitation. Dr. Amber can also provide care to aid with some levels of gut, adrenal, dizziness, and emotional issues. Dr. Ben has a specific skill set instability and corrective exercises. Dr. Kyle has expertise and training in biomechanics and fascial mobilization. The doctors have a broad spectrum of additional knowledge and techniques to provide along with your adjustments. We have had the pleasure of getting to know the Drs. Buck these last few months and we know you’re going to like them! They are amazing doctors with great hearts.

Our last day in the clinic is tentatively set for July 2nd.  We hope to get a chance to thank as many of you as possible in person these last few weeks! We will be talking with each of you about your current care plan and how New Leaf can best serve you and your family in the future.

While we are confident that we are leaving you in capable hands, if you would prefer that we do not share your medical records with the new doctors, please let us know ASAP. Until then, your records will remain on file at New Leaf.

Thank you again for letting us serve you. We think of you all as our family and will miss each of you dearly.  We wish you the very best in your journey to optimal health!

Sincerely,

Drs. Jay and Christina Breitlow

PS: We are honored that the Buck’s will be having an open house with refreshments and final goodbyes on June 26th.  Please see their note to follow for details.

Dear valued patron,

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. Our names are Dr. Ben and Dr. Kyle Buck and as stated from the previous letter by Drs. Jay and Christina, we will be the new owners of New Leaf Chiropractic. We look forward to continuing on with their level of care and passion. To give a brief background, we are brothers raised in eastern Washington, mostly in the Tri-Cities area. While we are not twins, our paths were similar through chiropractic school. We received our undergraduate education at Washington State University, also in eastern Washington. We then enrolled in the doctoral program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and there we attained a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and finally, after twenty-four years, parted ways to learn more.

Dr. Kyle migrated around the western United States for the past five years. First, he landed in Seattle. There he worked extensively with weekend warriors, University of Washington, USA Rugby, and USA Swimming athletes. Following this year-long stint in the wonderful Emerald City, he was drawn to the Phoenix area to work with different athletes. He spent the next four years working with numerous track & field, and triathletes ranging from high school to collegiate to professional levels. He has been lucky enough to treat as a personal medical representative at USA Track & Field’s National Championship events for the past several years. His treatment style bases off a functional movement approach, focusing on accurate biomechanics.

Dr. Ben remained at Palmer College in the Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Department for a three-year residency program focused on chiropractic rehabilitation (the only chiropractic rehabilitation residency in the United States). Here he taught students various rehabilitation and chiropractic techniques working with everything from back pain to pre- and post-surgical care for spine and extremities. This then transitioned into an opportunity to work with the Chinese Olympic Gymnastics Team for a year (which was a lot of fun and returning well before Covid-19) focusing on preventing injuries and improving performance with chiropractic care and exercise, finally culminating in a style that focuses both on mobility (adjustments) and stability (exercise) to give each patient the best personalized care. He wasn’t alone in this journey though; he met his wonderful wife, Dr. Amber, while at Palmer. He has thoroughly enjoyed their adventures together and he is ecstatic to announce that she will also be joining the practice as they look to expand on what Drs. Jay and Christina began.

Dr. Amber moved from Ft. Worth, Texas to study chiropractic at Palmer College in Iowa, which turned out to be a great decision both professionally and personally. During her years there, she was introduced to the technique of Applied Kinesiology, and developed a passion for it that earned her a certification. Not only that, but after graduation, she was lucky enough to work in her mentor’s office for a year and a half further developing those skills. This technique focuses not just on joint function, but muscle and nervous system function with myriad methods to treat physical ailments, plus much more. The specificity of this technique also landed her a position treating the Chinese Olympic Archery Team, and she enjoyed seeing the Chinese countryside while also helping to keep the athletes in top form with injury prevention and recovery.

When we found New Leaf, we were ecstatic to see a location with room to grow but more so at the personality of the clinic and patients. We are dedicated to providing world class care and will not only maintain the same procedures that you are accustomed to receiving, but hope to expand upon them with our individual specialties. Our goal is to expand the practice further by providing care with introduction to our specialties and helping you reach your goals. We are also looking to open up a few Friday hours so be on the lookout for that.

There will be about a month of transition during June, at which time both a Dr. Breitlow and at least one Dr. Buck will be working side-by-side, familiarizing the Drs. Buck with your personal case, history, and individual chiropractic needs. After the transition period, Dr. Jay, due to his continuing dedication to his patients, has graciously consented to consult on a case when or if that should occur. We highly encourage you to stop by during the transition period to wish both Dr. Jay and Chirstina well and also allow the Drs. Kyle, Ben, and Amber the opportunity to meet you. We will be having an open house on June 26th from 9:00AM-1:00PM with refreshments and a guest book to sign in order to send off the Breitlows on their next journey in life.

We are very humbled and honored that Drs. Jay and Christina have chosen us to continue in their role of this relationship with you. We are looking forward to getting to know all of you, and joining this family that started with Jay and Christina!

Yours in Good Health,

Drs. Kyle, Ben, and Amber
